Roy Todd is the former co-owner of My Own Money. Roy holds two degrees from Baylor University, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Science, Economics (MSEco).
Although Roy is no longer active or servicing client accounts, he provides counsel and insight to My Own Money staff in the area of global economic development and how those events can affect investment markets. Roy also assists with the research, structuring and compositions of investment models utilized by My Own Money.
Roy is an active member of Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas, and he frequently volunteers through Texas Baptist Men serving those who have been affected by disasters, whether feeding the homeless or running a chainsaw after a major storm. And many years ago, Roy became an Eagle Scout.
Roy lives by God’s promise: ‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.’ (Philippians 4:6-7).
